MARK LANDON SMITH

Executive Artistic Director

Mark has served as Director of the Youth Repertory Theatre and was on staff at the Ewing Children's Theatre. He holds a BA, MA & MFA in Acting and has appeared onstage with TheatreSquared, Phunbags Comedy Improv, The Metropolitan Opera, Ceramic Cow Productions, The Classical Edge Theatre, Circuit Playhouse, Tidal Theatre Company and others. Film and Television credits include 'Valley Inn', 'Door in the Woods', (Co-Producer), 'The Man in the Trunk' (Casting), 'F.R.E.D.I.' (Casting), 'Gordon Family Tree', 'Parker's Anchor' (Casting, Co-Producer), 'Rider', 'The Man in the  Trunk' (Casting, Producer), and more. As a Playwright, he has had sixteen script published which are produced throughout the world and include several Arts Live Theatre premiere productions and adaptations. He is the founder and director of the Actors Casting Agency, and co-directs the Arkansas Playwright's Workshop for TheatreSquared.

JULES TAYLOR

Natalie's career with Arts Live Theatre began in the mid-1990's touring in public school outreach children's shows written by Jonelle Grace and directed by Amy Herzberg. As Arts Live grew,  Natalie became a Teaching Artists with the Arts Encounter AEGIS camp at Arkansas Tech. Natalie is also an acting coach for The Actors Casting Agency and a member of the Arkansas Arts Council. Arts Live Theatre credits include Rock Dogs (Choreographer), Shrek Jr. (Choreographer), Anne of Green Gables (Assistant Director/Acting Coach), Annie Jr. (Assistant Director/Choreographer), The Children of Hooverville (Acting Coach), Tom Sawyer (Director), Mary Poppins (Assistant Director), The Sword In The Stone (Assistant Director), Pinocchio (Assistant Director), Little Women (Director), Robin Hood (Director), and Beauty and the Beast (Assistant Director).

NATALIE LANE

Teaching Artist & Director

Jason is a teaching artist and professional actor who holds an MA in Theatre and Film from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. He is the Head of Outreach for Trike Theatre in Bentonville, Arkansas.  As an actor, Jason has toured with multiple plays created by Trike Theatre and produced by the Walton Arts Center. He is also a founding member of two comedy improv troupes in Northwest Arkansas, Phunbags Comedy Improv and Rodeo Book Club. As director his Arts Live Theatre credits includ Bridge to Terabithia, Charlotte's Web, Anne of Green Gables, The Outsiders, Fiddler on the Roof, Anne Frank & Me, Weird Sisters, A Separate Peace and The Sword in the Stone for Arts Live Theatre. He also directed The Wind in the Willows at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford, England. Jason has served on the Board of Directors for the Fayetteville Film Festival since its inception, and was the Executive Director from January 2011 to January 2013.  In the fall of 2014, Jason toured Ireland as an actor in The Odyssey Experience directed by Christopher Parks and produced by New Jersey's Experiential Theatre Company.  Jason produces and hosts a Fayetteville, AR based television show, 'Later with Jason Suel', produced at Fayetteville Public Television and broadcast on the Northwest Arkansas Fox affiliate, Fox 24.

Jennifer an alumn of ALT is a native of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and is Currently she is pursuing her B.A. in Theatre at the University of Arkansas. Arts Live Theatre credits include Pinocchio, Sherlock Holmes Mystery School (Assistant Director/Stage Manager), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Director and adaptation), and  co-playwright/co-composer of the musical Rock Dogs, premiered by ALT. Previous stage credits with the U of A includes Lilies on the Land, Metal Children, Lysistrata and The Christians.  U of A Design credits at the U of A include Prop Master for Cherry Orchard and Talking Pictures. Regional theatre credits include: Sunday Night Service (The Artist Laboratory Theatre), teaching artist with the T2 Kids Club (TheatreSquared), and Arkansas New Play festival (TheatreSquared). Regional Film/TV Credits include: 'Northern Lights' (Fayetteville Public Access), 'Crystal' (Ginny Mule Pictures), and 'Greater' (Greater Productions).
