Arts Live Theatre's Living Room Theatre brings theatre to you! Produced via Zoom, LRT is a series of recorded readings for plays starring young artists like you and enjoyed by all ages. Produced bi-weekly, Living Room Theatre is a terrific opportunity for actors to continue working on their craft while creating a piece of theatre to be shared on social media and on the Arts Live Theatre YouTube channel. See below on how to get involved! For questions please email firstname.lastname@example.org
BE AN ACTOR
Arts Live Theatre has several Living Room Theatre projects coming up!
If you'd like to audition for our next LRT production, The Tempest by William Shakespeare, see link below. This is an ongoing project with lots of opportunity to participate - if you aren't cast in one production more are coming up!
As the readings are recorded online, actors will need a reliable internet connection, a computer and a place in their homes where they will not be disturbed.
WHAT ARE THE TECH NEEDS?
A reliable WiFi connection; computer, phone or tablet with webcam and the ability to log on to Zoom. Rehearsals will take place on Zoom or via Facetime. The play is a series of songs and monologues which actors self video, then send to Arts Live to be edited into one show!
WHEN ARE REHEARSALS?
Virtual rehearsals will begin the third week of June. Rehearsals will be arranged according to actor availability and take place via Zoom.
WHEN IS THE PERFORMANCE?
The final product will consist of videos sent by actors and edited together to create one show. This will be made available for public viewing on YouTube and social media. The performance will be released late June, 2020.
IS THERE A PARTICIPATION FEE?
To help with associated costs, the participation fee is tax-deductible donate-what-you-are-able, (suggested tax-deductible donation of $50 to Arts Live Theatre.) After actors are cast, this may be made through our website at artslivetheatre.com.
