WILLY WONKA JR: A MUSICAL

SYNOPSIS:

Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

SYNOPSIS:

A modern adaptation of a Shakespeare classic set in a contemporary High School, Plain Kate is a twist on Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. In this adaptation by Arts Live Theatre Education Director Jules Taylor, the Big Man on Campus decides he wants to ask Kate to the school dance, but much to his shock, she wants nothing to do with him! Can the BMOC get Kate to change her mind

SYNOPSIS:

it's a typical afternoon in Bumblewood when the weekly meeting of The Monster, Ghost, Goblin, Demon, Dragon, Evil-Wizard Hunters Club (whose members have never caught, seen, or even tried to hunt a monster) is interrupted by a troublesome announcement: a real-live monster has been sited in a nearby cemetery. The mismatched friends anxiously set out on their first hunt ever, only to find that they have been duped by the Secret Society of Girls Who Like to Make Bracelets Club. In the end, though, it is The Monster Hunters who will have the last laugh.

SYNOPSIS:

Join us over the rainbow with Dorothy and Toto as they meet the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion on the Yellow Brick Road and go off to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz to find Dorothy a way home while battling against the Wicked Witch of the West for her sister's ruby slippers! Based on the 1939 blockbuster film, THE WIZARD OF OZ, and includes your favorite songs!

T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

SYNOPSIS: Celebrate the holidays with the original Arts Live Theatre production of T'was the Night Before Christmas! This classic poem comes to life with sugar plums and a few special guests!

SYNOPSIS:

Adapted from the award-winning book by Louis Sachar, this finely written play focuses on Stanley Yelnats, a troubled kid who is sent to a boys' detention center, Camp Green Lake. The warden tells the boys that they must dig holes five feet wide by five feet deep in order to "build character." But Stanley soon realizes that this isn't the real reason they're being subjected to such treatment. The boys are digging holes because the warden is looking for something, and Stanley will do his best to dig up the truth.

SYNOPSIS:

Journey "under the sea" with Ariel and her aquatic friends in Disney's The Little Mermaid JR., adapted from Disney's Broadway production and the motion picture (featuring the enormously popular Academy Award-winning music and delightfully charming book and lyrics). Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories, Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. is an enchanting look at the sacrifices we all make for love and acceptance.

What do you do when your Mom and Dad are Greek Gods? An Arts Live Theatre original production, The Kids of Mount Olympus is a comedy in which the children of the Gods juggle down-to-earth challenges of school, homework, being social and social media with the challenges of living above-the-earth on Mount Olympus.
