Santa Claus Conquers the Martians
JULES TAYLOR, director

Synopsis:  Martians, upset that their children have become obsessed with TV shows from Earth which extol the virtues of Santa Claus, start an expedition to Earth to kidnap the one and only Santa. While on Earth, they kidnap two lively children that lead the group of Martians to the North Pole and Santa. The Martians then take Santa and the two children back to Mars with them. Voldar, a particularly grumpy Martian, attempts to do away with the children and Santa before they get to Mars, but their leader Lomas stops him. When they arrive on Mars, Santa, with the help of the two Earth children and a rather simple-minded Martian lackey, overcomes the Martians by bringing fun, happiness and Christmas cheer to the children of Mars

A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM

SYNOPSIS:
On a Midsummer’s night, four young lovers find themselves wrapped in the dream-like arms of an enchanted forest where sprites lurk and fairies rule. While a feuding Fairy King and Queen are at war, their paths are crossed by Bottom, Quince and their friends presenting a play within a play. Chief mischief-maker Puck is on-hand to ensure that the course of true love is anything but smooth, and games of fantasy, love and dreams ensue in Shakespeare’s most beguiling comedy.

LEGEND OF SLEEPY HOLLOW

SYNOPSIS:
As schoolmaster of this village, I deal in simple fact. And the simple fact is this—there are no such things as ghosts!” So says Ichabod Crane, the newly-hired schoolmaster of Sleepy Hollow, a superstitious little community in New York’s Hudson Valley, 1790. Even while strange sounds and mysterious happenings follow the nervous young teacher all around the hollow, he persistently professes his disbelief in all things supernatural—until the night of Katrina Van Tassel’s Halloween Frolic, that is. Riding home that evening, Ichabod comes face to face—so to speak—with Sleepy Hollow’s most feared and famous ghost.

When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar, the Genie and more are here in Disney’s Aladdin JR., a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love.

ANIMAL FARM by GEORGE ORWELL

Auditions: December 2nd, 1 pm - 4 pm. Actors ages 10 to 18 are invited to audition.

SYNOPSIS:
The animals on a farm drive out their master and take over and run the farm for themselves. The experiment is successful, except that someone has to take the deposed farmer's place. Leadership devolves upon the pigs, which are cleverer than the rest of the animals. Unfortunately, their character is not equal to their intelligence. This dramatization remains faithful to the book's plot and intent and retains both its affection for the animals and the incisiveness of its message.

ROBIN HOOD

SYNOPSIS:
Robin Hood, the outlaw of Sherwood Forest, leads a merry life with his followers.  The citizens of the forest oppose wicked Prince John.  One day a caravan cuts through the wood. In the convoy is Robin’s childhood sweetheart, Maid Marian, ward of King Richard. Alas, the evil Lady Merle of Cornwall plans to force Marian to marry the Prince in an effort to make John more acceptable to the people of England. To arms! It’s up to Robin to stop the marriage, defeat a nasty sheriff and secure Nottingham for the king’s return.

SYNOPSIS:
The classic story tells of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

SYNOPSIS:
Emily, Matthew and Peter are three siblings crossing the continent on the Oregon Trail in 1847 for a reason their father won’t reveal. Throughout their journey, they are faced with challenges they never thought they would have to face, the least of which being their new friend Esther, who has a bad habit of predicting terrible things. But as Oregon comes steadily closer, Emily and her brothers see that Esther’s predictions might not be that far from the truth. This is a story of parental trust, friendship, love and most of all, the ghost of memories of the past and future.

SYNOPSIS:
Something terrible happened to Junie B. Jones at school today! Someone stole her new furry mittens! So when Junie B. finds a wonderful pen of many colors, she should be allowed to keep it, right? Because finders keepers, losers weepers. And guess what? There's a new boy in kindergarten and he is the handsomest. The only thing is both Grace and Lucille want him to be their boyfriend. Maybe he will love Junie B. when he sees her wonderful pen! It is okay to keep it, right? Junie B. Jones is not a crook . . . or is she?
